Mark Black
Founder & Chief Executive
CEO and founder, Mark Black, has over 25+ years of property experience and has 15+ years experience at Managing Director/CEO level. He has a wealth of industry knowledge in service delivery, property development and asset management.
Mark has a rare passion for property and business, and regards Genome as his vocation, calling and lifelong career’s work. Together with his senior team, Mark has successfully built Genome over the past near-20 year journey.
A reassuring presence in any room, he drives our daily governance standards and pushes both the team and business forward towards our goals. A voracious reader, explorer and sportsman, Mark is a real asset to Genome on a personal, team and business level.
Kerry Black
Co-Founder & Partner
Kerry Black oversees our operational & . She has an accounting background and manages the oversight of the groups business. Kerry has a wide range of administration experience having held senior positions for AWS Accountancy, Accuread, Pepaco Process Management and Ernst & Young.
Kerry brings a great attention to detail to the role and enjoys the daily operational challenges that come with our administration. She ensures calls are answered, leads are organised, applications are made, jobs are booked and processes adhered to.
Formidably consistent, she is a big part of keeping Genome on course as a well-run, growing business.
Martin Pearce
Non-Executive Director
30+ years of corporate experience under highly regarded entrepreneurs in the telecoms and retail industries. Martin has worked with some of the UK’s leading entrepreneurs and brings a wealth of business insight. Highly experienced and creates long term value through his advanced strategic expertise.
Kevin Scott
Construction Risk Management
40+ years real estate industry experience. Superb industry knowledge with a wide experience of construction delivery, industry sectors and risk management.
Ant Nicholson
Accounts
Ant is our financial manager, supporting the board in all financial matters. He has been the main driver in developing internal financial information monitoring and reporting systems.
A financial professional with 30 years’ experience holding both A.C.I.B and ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business qualifications, Ant has brought a wealth of knowledge to assist in structuring our financial needs to meet our medium and long term requirements.
Agata bakowska
HR, Culture & Talent Management
Agata heads up HR and drives our people, performance and culture daily. She manages all recruitment, on-boarding, performance systems and helps to create a vibrant working environment where people can do their best work.
As we expand, the cultural aspects of the business becomes even more important. Agata ensures we continue to strive for excellence and improve our people.
Lukas Miseikis
Marketing
Lukas joined Genome from university studying Marketing Management. During his time studying he created an e-commerce business, worked abroad as a marketing executive for a French trading platform and has worked as a social media manager and content creator.
Lukas is responsible for the creation of all marketing content. He ensures that Adavo’s social media presence continues to grow with the goal of making the business more visible to prospective investors.
He has excelled in his main role to date, successfully increasing our presence across all platforms. Originally from Lithuania, Lukas now moves internationally between group businesses.
Caroline Moscrop
Facilities Manager
Caroline has extensive experience in facilities management, with a proven ability to oversee site operations, monitor performance, and maintain rigorous quality control. She ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards through strong systems management and attention to detail. Drawing on her leadership roles at G4S Data Services and Accuread, Caroline brings the skills and strategic insight required to excel in a senior management position in our Clementine subsidiary.

The construction and facilities teams are a huge collection of superbly experienced craftsmen and trades people. These projects are big undertakings and the teams that complete them deserve tremendous credit.
We call them our A-Teams, and they provide the highest level of finish we have found. Quality fixtures and fittings are important, but it’s the care they are fitted with that makes them last. You must always correctly value experience when taking on project deliveries.
Their focus, precision and attention to detail when dealing with listed buildings is second to none, and the results speak for themselves.
